Even with nano assembly, material and energy inputs still matter.

I don't necessarily see the barriers as technological in the future, I think the barriers will continue to be what they are today and that is classism.

There seems to be an innate human desire in society for a minority of people to control the lives of the majority.

For example, today in many countries it is illegal to 3D print certain objects regardless of their intended use. This isn't a technology or a resource problem, it is a social control problem.

In a post-scarcity world, it's hard to see power structures voluntarily dissolve themselves. History is so far shown that as productivity increases these power structures take new forms to preserve their hierarchy.

Honestly, it's an amazing feeling knowing this will happen in my lifetime—not 300+ years from now! Once fusion output exceeds input, space travel and matter creation will be a breeze. ASI next year if my ideas get heard and implemented, meaning in 10 years, every person and mind will be truly free. And the kings of the new world? They'll be the ones with limitless ideas!
