One aspect of education that it very important is civics youngsters need to learn that the foundation of the United States was based on a thorough study of past forms of governance, why the succeeded, and why they failed. Our founders feared tyranny, and opted for a republication for of governance, rather than a democracy that would have resulted in a tyranny of the majority, leaving minority members with no voice in their governance. There is a strong place for history in your proposed educational system.

The most interesting part for me isn’t the two-hour school day - it’s the redefinition of the adult role. If AI increasingly handles content delivery, the scarce value shifts toward motivation, judgment, standards and feedback. That feels very similar to what’s happening at work: the more execution gets automated, the more valuable good coaching and leadership become.
